With the Film Grain Template for Photoshop you can instantly emulate a film grain effect from any photo or graphic that you want. You just need to replace a single Smart Object and pick (or combine) any of the 20 different effects available. The film grain presets are divided into 4 main categories: Normal - Blur 1 - Blur 1.5 and Blur 2 for you to easily match the exact look you want for your image.
After updating the Smart Object, you can turn on/off the different film grain layers, combine them, adjust the opacity or even the layer blending mode to get additional effects. The included PSD file has a resolution of 300 dpi with a dimension of 4800 x 3200 px in RGB color mode perfect to be used on your digital designs.
How to update the Smart Object
- Open the "Film Grain Template.psd" file in Photoshop.
- Double click on the "[Your Image Here]" Smart Object layer thumbnail.
- Replace the sample artwork with your own content.
- Save and close the Smart Object.
